Our History
COWL was formed in 1994 by a group of women who recognized
that long-term care is about women – we have a great
stake in decisions made by Congress and state legislatures; there
was a need to put a face on long-term care issues.
Today membership is open to women and men with an interest
in women’s issues in long-term care.
