MEMBERSHIP

COWL had its beginnings in a task force on women’s issues in long term care in 1994. The COWL membership recognizes that long term care is about women-and the stake women have in decisions made by Congress and state legislatures. We need to put a face on long term care issues. Today, membership is open to men and women with an interest in women’s issues in long term care.

Membership Benefits

Political Access - Bring a fresh perspective to current issues through greater political involvement on both state and national levels. Your involvement in COWL will give you political access and creditability.

Educational Opportunities - Participate in forums in women’s health issues, and receive quarterly newletters on events and activities related to women in long term healthcare.

Professional Networking - Join with other providers and caregivers to form alliances and establish a strong voice for women in long term healthcare.
Leadership Mentoring Promote involvement of women in long term healthcare through formal and informal mentoring.

Annual Membership dues are $50 per year. We also accept life membership at $1000.
